Dr Amelia Hadfield is Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Canterbury Christ Church University, having joined in Sept 2013. She teaches a range of topics, including International Relations, Global Governance, Foreign Policy Analysis, as well as continuing her core specialisms in EU foreign and security policy, energy security, development and neighbourhood policy, as well as area studies including sub-Saharan Africa, Russia, Eastern Partnership and Canada. Other areas of interest include diplomacy studies, international history and EU education policy. Between 2010 and 2013, Dr Hadfield was Senior Research Fellow and Jean Monnet Chair at the VUB/IES in Brussels, having moved there from her first position at the University of Kent, Canterbury. Dr Hadfield publises, researches, teaches and consults widely on all her areas of expertise and has been affiliated with UACES in a variety of capacities since 2004.
